For all our handmade-to-order collection, our delivery fee is £149. Once your order has been meticulously handcrafted, we will arrange for it to be carefully delivered to your door, then unpacked and assembled in the room of your choice, leaving it looking irresistibly luxurious. We also take away the packaging! It’s the ultimate stress-free experience, leaving your new piece perfectly set up and ready to enjoy the moment we leave.

How will I find out about my delivery date?

Within 10 days of placing your order, you will receive an email which will require confirmation within 48 hours. You may also receive a call from our delivery support team. If we do not receive your confirmation, please be aware your order will not be manufactured, meaning we won’t be able to fulfill your order within the original lead time. 

You will hear directly from our  trusted delivery partner, Wincanton, in the coming weeks to confirm your exact delivery date. Below details what you will receive from our delivery partner:

  • You will receive an email and SMS asking you to select a delivery date through their secure online portal. We ask that you ensure you do this within 72 hours of receipt. You may also receive a phone call from them asking for a date to be selected
  • Once you have selected a date you will receive confirmation via email and SMS. You will also receive a reminder 7 days before the agreed date
  • 2 days before your agreed delivery date  you will receive confirmation of the 2-hour arrival time slot
  • The day before your delivery, you will receive an email reminder and some information on how best to prepare for your delivery
  • On the day of your delivery, you will receive an introductory call, by 10am, to confirm your delivery is on schedule. You will be contacted again by SMS around 30 minutes advising you of the team’s imminent arrival, and the delivery team will also call to advise they’re on their way

How should I prepare for my delivery and what should I expect?

In preparation of your delivery, we kindly ask that you ensure clear access to the relevant room(s). This includes all hallways and stairs, all floors, both wooden and carpet, are protected/covered prior to us entering, and all precious and or breakable items are removed. We also request that children and pets are out of the way. Please note, the person accepting delivery must be at least 18 years old.

For delivery of our medium and large items, our trusted delivery partner will carefully deliver it to your door, then unpack, assemble in the room of your choice, and leave it looking irresistibly luxurious. They will also remove all packing and arrange for it to be recycled. 

If you are expecting a breakdownable item, please note, the sofa will arrive complete, this is to avoid any pieces going missing. The delivery team will attempt the delivery without dismantling it first but will of course break it down if required.

Once your delivery has been completed you will be asked by the delivery drivers to sign to confirm everything is delivered as expected.

Please be aware that upon arrival at the delivery address, the drivers will assess if they can deliver the item(s), without damage to the item(s) itself or the property. If they believe this not to be case, they may ask you to sign a disclaimer for any damage caused before proceeding, or they may refuse to deliver if deemed to be out of the parameters of safety and manual handling risk.

Can I change my delivery address?

It is not a problem to change your delivery address, we just request you give us as much notice as possible. 

If you make this change up to 7 days after placing your order, we will do so for no fee. Any changes to your order after 7 days will incur a 10% fee and reset of the delivery lead time, if applicable. 

If you have already confirmed a delivery slot to the previous delivery address you supplied, please get in touch with our helpful delivery support team who will be happy to support. Please note, our delivery partner will not be able to accommodate the same date you have previously agreed, so will have to reschedule it completely.

Do you deliver to Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland?

We currently do!

All deliveries are carried out by our friendly Irish delivery partner, WS Dennison who work alongside our UK delivery partner Wincanton. All communication regarding your delivery will be from Wincanton 

  • You will receive an email and SMS asking you to select a delivery date through their secure online portal. We ask that you ensure you do this within 72 hours of receipt. You may also receive a phone call from them asking for a date to be selected
  • Once you have selected a date you will receive confirmation via email and SMS. You will also receive a reminder 7 days before the agreed date
  • 2 days before your agreed delivery date  you will receive confirmation of the 2-hour arrival time slot

For deliveries to the Republic of Ireland, for our handmade-to-order furniture, we offer a white glove delivery service to ROI where our Irish delivery partner will carefully deliver your specially handcrafted piece/s to your door, then unpack and assemble in the room of your choice, for a fee of €249. They will also remove all packing and arrange for it to be recycled.

Do you deliver to Europe?

We offer delivery to the Republic of Ireland. Please click here for prices and more information.

Unfortunately, we do not deliver to any other country in Europe, however we will happily arrange for your items to be delivered to a nominated UK port for you to arrange your own onwards shipping and delivery. To arrange delivery to a nominated UK port, please get in touch with our friendly team who will be able to place your order and go through the full process with you. The cost of delivery to your UK port of choice will be in line with the standard delivery charges, depending on what you are ordering and where your port of choice is located.

Alternatively, you can arrange to pick up your items directly from our factory in Poland. You will need to arrange your own courier and cover all costs. If you would like to arrange this, please contact our friendly head office Customer Service Team who will go through the full process with you.

Can I reschedule my delivery?

Can I add items to or make changes to my quote?

Of course! It's not a problem if you wish to add or change items within your quote, in fact, we encourage it as once your order is placed, we cannot offer any amendments. 

We want to ensure you make the right choices regarding the item/s you wish to purchase. Our friendly showroom teams will happily guide you through our extensive range of styles and fabrics and advise you on the perfect piece/s for your space. Our showrooms have many display options for you to view and try out, we want you to take your time and ensure you are happy with the style and size of your item and that the fabric and colour are the perfect match for you.

Any quote created for you is valid for 30 days from creation. There are several ways to redeem your quote:

  • Pop into our call the showroom who created the quote for you
  • By entering your SQ – Quote Number and either your CU – Account Number or your delivery postcode on our website
  • Contact our friendly Customer Service team

Can I add items to or make changes to my order?

Once an order has been placed, we are unable to make any amendments, therefore, we ask that you ensure everything on your order is correct at the time of purchasing. If you have any queries prior to placing your order, please get in touch with our friendly showroom teams, who will happily guide you through our extensive range of styles and fabrics and advise you on the perfect piece/s for your space. Alternatively, please contact our Customer Service team, who will also be able to advise you.

If you wish to cancel your order, you can do so, up to 7 days after placing your order for no fee, no questions asked.

Any orders that are cancelled in full after 7 days will incur a 10% cancellation fee on the total value of your order.

If you would like to place a new order at the time of cancellation, we will waiver the 10% cancellation fee, where applicable, on the first cancellation only. Please be aware that any new order placed will be done so with a reset of the advertised lead time.

Can I add fabric protection to my order?

Of course! We know that many of you have busy homes, and spills and stains are an unfortunate occurrence, so that is why we offer Guardsman Fabric Protection for your peace of mind.  

If you are unfortunate enough to spill something on your upholstered item, simply absorb any liquid with a dry cloth and call Guardsman on 0123 544 8844 who will send out their stain removal solution. If this doesn’t work and the stain is still visible, a member of their friendly team will come out to you, free of charge, to tackle the stain themselves. If it’s really persistent and their team member is unable to remove the stain, Guardsman will then work with sofa.com to source replacement covers or parts for your sofa.

Guardsman also offers protection for lovers of leather. Their Guardsman Leather Warranty offers protection against spills and accidental damage to your furniture, ensuring your leather looks lovely for many years to come.

Do you offer fabric samples?

We certainly do! We know how hard it can be when choosing a new piece of furniture for your home, and a big part of that is getting the right fabric in the right colour to complement your room and style…don't worry we've got it covered. 

Pop into one of our showrooms, where you can see many of the fabric options available upholstered on our sumptuous collection and select from the free swatches we have instore to take home.

We have all of the swatch samples available on our website. We’ve put together some curated looks from our range, inspired by some of this season’s top trends. Choose your favourite for a pre-filled samples pack tailored to that look! Or just select the 6 you are interested in, let us know your name and where you want them delivered and our dedicated swatch teams will get these sent out to you pronto!

Your swatches will be posted by Royal Mail. We will get your swatches sent out to you as soon as possible, however, please be aware that currently Royal Mail are taking slightly longer than normal to deliver them.

How do I decide on the best fabric for me?

We take a lot of time and care when deciding what fabrics to add into our collection and we try to ensure there is something for everyone. With over 100 fabrics to chose from we completely understand it can all feel a little overwhelming, but please do not fear we are here to help! Every fabric in our collection has its own unique qualities and composition, so when choosing you need to have a think about how you use your sofa, what room will it be in, do you have children, do you have pets, what texture do you like, what colourway?

Please pop into one of our showrooms, where ours teams are on hand to advise you with your fabric choices. Alternatively contact them and they will happily advise you over the phone and can arrange for samples to be posted to you directly.

I’m not sure it’ll fit – do you offer breakdownable sofas?

Restricted access? No problem! We don’t want there to be any reason why you can’t have your dream sofa, so we’ve made sure that your favourite sofa styles are available as ‘breakdownables’. This means that if you have restricted access to your home, tight doorways, live on a high floor or only have access via a small lift, then there’s no need to worry. These sofa's breakdown into 4 pieces, arms (2), base and back. Also your sofa back cushions (if applicable) and chosen legs will already be separate.
Full details of these sofas are available to view here. If you decide to order a breakdownable one, when we make delivery the sofa will be arrive complete, this is to avoid any pieces going missing. The delivery team will attempt the delivery without dismantling it first, but will of course break it down if required.

Our sofabeds are available from a loveseat (single) up to a 3 seat (double). Depending on the style and size of sofa you choose, the mattresses range from 7cm to 12cm and are either made from Polyurethane foam, coil spring and latex or Polyurethane foam and VISCO- memory foam. Can I have Hypoallergenic cushions options?

We offer Hypoallergenic options if for anyone who has allergies and are unable to have our standard seat cushion pads. Our Hypoallergenic pads use Quallofil fibre instead of feather. Please be aware that these will be quite a lot firmer than our standard pads and there is an additional charge of:
- Per Seat Cushion Pad: £100
- Per Back Cushion Pad: £60

Do you sell beds?

Yes! We are super proud or our range of luxuriously upholstered beds and ridiculously comfy mattresses. We offer a large range of styles in various sizes, from beds on legs, ottoman bases or divan bases, which you can match up with various headboards and can be upholstered in most of our gorgeous fabrics. Of course! If you haven’t seen exactly the fabric you want in our house range, no problem. We can cover any of our sofas in almost any fabric you choose. The process is really simple. Click here to see how it works.

I have a problem with my new item, what should I do?

All of our items are lovingly handmade to order and we take pride in ensuring your beautiful new sofa or bed arrives in perfect condition. On the rare occasion where this doesn't happen we always strive to resolve the issue efficiently.

We have a company who works alongside us called Emmiera who will come to your home and assess the issue. If they can fix it there and then, they will. If this is not possible they will update us so we can decide on what further action needs to be done to resolve the problem for you.

If you do need to report an issue to us, please provide us with as much information as possible and if you can include some images, that will really assist us in helping resolve this promptly for you.

Can I return my mattress?

We’re sure you’ll absolutely love your new item, but if you are not 100% happy with your purchase we will be happy to provide a refund or exchange. You will need to contact us within 14 days of your delivery date, so we can process and refund or exchange for you.

If you decide to return your mattress, for us to be able to accept it back, it needs to be in it's original packaging and still be fully sealed.

If you wish to return your order, including on the day of delivery, a restocking fee will be charged and deducted from your refund. The restocking fee will be £50 or 10% of the item being returned, whichever is the greater value. Please note, the original delivery fee will not be recompensated.

Am I able to return my order?

We’re sure you’ll absolutely love your new item, but if you are not 100% happy with your purchase we will be happy to provide a refund or exchange. You will need to contact us within 14 days of your delivery date, so we can process a refund or exchange for you. We simply require that your item is returned in the same condition it was as when it was delivered.

If you wish to return your order, including on the day of delivery, a restocking fee will be charged and deducted from your refund. The restocking fee will be £50 or 10% of the item being returned, whichever is the greater value. Please note, the original delivery fee will not be recompensated.

If you have ordered a modular design (corner sofas, chaise sofas, or any sofa which is produced and assembled in individual units), please be aware this can only be exchanged for store credit. There will be a restocking fee of £50 or 10% of the item being returned, whichever is the greater value, which will be deducted from the store credit total. 

Any items with bespoke changes, including designer fabrics, cannot be returned. If you’d like more information about our returns policy and charges, you can read our terms & conditions here.

How long will I have to wait for a refund?

If you are returning a item to us for a full refund, we will arrange a convenient time with you for our delivery team to pick it up. Once we have received confirmation that the item is safely back in our warehouse we will arrange for the refund to be processed for you.

Please be aware that our warehouse team do look over all items when returned and will look to recoup any value for damages or markings.

Do you offer Interest Free Credit?

Our new finance options allow you to spread the cost of your dream design over 6 months and up to 4 years. They are available in our showrooms and online (selected under 'payment methods' at checkout).

We offer up to 18 months 0% APR representative interest free credit (not available in ROI). 

Our simple payment plan allows you to spread the cost of your purchase over 6, 12, or 18 months. All we require is a minimum spend of £300 and a deposit of 15%.

If you’re looking to pay a more comfortable amount each month over a longer period of time, we also offer a payment plan over 36 and 48 months at 9.9% APR representative. All we require is a minimum spend of £1,000 and a deposit of 15%.
